1Acceptance

By accessing or using My Safe Circle, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2Service

My Safe Circle helps you create a trusted circle, send check-ins, share safety status, receive notifications and, when you enable it, share location-related information with selected contacts. The app is a communication and coordination tool only.

3Not an emergency service

My Safe Circle is not an emergency number, rescue service, alarm center, medical device or professional monitoring service. It cannot guarantee that messages, notifications, location data or requests for help will be delivered, read or acted on. In an emergency or immediate danger, call the competent emergency services first.

4Your account and contacts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure and for the activity on your account. Invite only people you know and are allowed to contact. Do not impersonate others, harass, stalk, threaten or misuse the app.

5Location, check-ins and notifications

Location, status and check-in information may be inaccurate, delayed or unavailable because of device settings, permissions, GPS, network coverage, battery saving, third-party services or operating system limits. You must not rely on the app as your only safety measure.

6Privacy

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy available in the app. By using the app you acknowledge that safety features may require account data, circle data, device tokens, notifications and location-related data where enabled.

7Subscriptions, trials and purchases

Premium features, if offered, are purchased through the applicable app store or payment provider. The purchase screen shows the subscription name, duration, trial period when available, full renewal price and the features included. If you start a free trial or introductory offer, you are not charged until the offer period ends; after that, the subscription renews automatically at the price shown unless you cancel before renewal according to the store rules. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple, Google or relevant store account settings. Refunds, billing issues, price changes, taxes and charge timing are handled under Apple, Google or the relevant provider terms. We may use Apple, Google, RevenueCat and similar subscription infrastructure to verify purchases, restore access, process offer-code redemptions and keep Premium entitlements in sync.

8Availability and changes

We try to keep the app reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or permanent availability. Features may change, be limited or be discontinued when needed for security, legal, technical or product reasons.

9Intellectual property

The app, name, design, software, texts and visual assets are protected. You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell or exploit the app except where the law expressly allows it.

10Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, misuse safety features, violate law or compromise the service. You may stop using the app or delete your account through the available account tools.

11Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided without warranties of accuracy, availability or fitness for a specific safety outcome. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost data, failed notifications, inaccurate location, third-party outages or decisions made by you or your contacts based on the app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under consumer law.

12Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be made available in the app or through another reasonable notice. Continued use after the update means acceptance of the updated Terms.

13Governing law and disputes

If you are a consumer, mandatory protections of the country where you live remain applicable. Otherwise, these Terms are governed by Italian law, unless mandatory law requires another rule.

15Export controls and sanctions

You may not use, access or make the app available where doing so is prohibited by applicable export control, trade sanctions or embargo laws, or if you are a person, entity or organization subject to applicable sanctions. You may not use the app for military, intelligence, sanctioned government or other prohibited purposes, or to bypass restrictions applied by app stores, payment providers or service providers. We may restrict, suspend or terminate access where required to comply with law or provider obligations.
