Live location at airports and stations: finding someone
Terminals, floors and platforms can have almost the same coordinates. Pair location with access directions and a reachable meeting point.
Feature availability
Instructions for My Safe Circle describe version 2.2, still in development and beta, and not released in app stores. Installed versions may lack the feature; interface and behaviour may change during testing.
A map does not show access
A nearby point may be beyond security, on another floor or beside another platform. Map distance is not proof of an unrestricted walking route.
Name public landmarks
Agree terminal, floor and exit number or a sign. Do not share boarding passes or booking codes to explain your place. A beta session message can be added beforehand but stays fixed.
One person waits
While the arriving person moves, the other waits at the agreed place. Communicate gate or platform changes directly; sharing is no official source of travel announcements.
When the point is inaccurate
Check capture age, then compare local signs together. Do not attempt restricted access to reach the pin. End sharing after meeting; agree a new message for delays.
